DEPARTMENT OF SOCIOLOGY

The Department of Sociology, Birupa College, Indupur, Kendrapara, was established in 1982 for +2 wing with sanctioned strength of 116 for each year and +3 wing (pass) was started from 1988-89. Honours was introduced in the year 1997 with 16 nos. of sanctioned strength for each year. The sanctioned strength for honors has been raised to 48 for each year.
